Art in the Park (a regionally recognized, juried, fine art festival) 2019 is extra special as it is our 5th year! Always the 3rd weekend in August – don’t forget to mark your calendars! Plan to join us in Founders’ Park alongside the Turkey River in historic downtown Elkader, Iowa, to experience the sights, tastes, and sounds of local and regional artists. The artist application deadline for 2018 has passed.

Iowa Tourism Outstanding New Event Award Recipient – 2016

We are honored to announce that Art in the Park Fine Art Festival, an event of Main Street Elkader’s Cultural & Entertainment District, received the Iowa Tourism “Outstanding New Event” Award for 2016. We are so grateful and humbled by this award. We want to thank Jennifer Cowsert of the Elkader City Office for nominating us. We appreciate everyone’s support!
